5/20/12 TRUTH TIME LINE BDN COWARD COMMENTS INTEGRITY TRUMPS

09/2009  Began emails with Jan Andrews of Better Homes & Garden, Town and Country Realtors.

12/2009 Drove 500 miles up back to see houses. Rejected all with water issues, houses were shown the day after a heavy snow, stream not visible- small lot- 1/4 acre- not disclosed, purposely with held- Planning Members were even making jokes about my PROPERTY at the WCGH Annex site visit. Pointing to the stream CHUCKLING AND SAID "How would you like to own that ? " Reply from Mr. Pickering "No Way" as I was standing right there. Wayne Marshall smirking. They all knew what they had done to Seaview Terrace. And still are- they approved the Annex storm water and storm water from Wight St. to drain into our private property!!

I was told by Jan Andrews, no water problems,  just a slow market.

4/15/2010 House Inspection by DJ Brown Associates of China Village Maine. Stream not disclosed. Findings of inspection in email below to Jan.

6/2010- Drove all night, arrived at 4 am, closing at 9am. Stream and Flood Zone not disclosed.

7/2010-present- I NEVER REMOVED VEGETATION FROM STREAM BANKS OR TOPS. HEAVY SNOW OF 2010-2011 AND THE CITY USING MY PROPERTY FOR A FREE STORM WATER SEWER TURNED STREAM INTO THUNDEROUS TORRENT RAPIDS, CRESTING OVER BANKS. THE CITY MOVED THE STREAM (AND TRIED TO COVER THIS UP AND WHEN EXPOSED, TRIES TO BLAME ON DEVELOPER) DUG OUT THE TRENCH AND NEVER PUT THE ROCKS BACK. INSTEAD THEY JUST PILED THEM UP ON THE OTHER SIDE, AWAY FROM THE BANKS, CLEARLY VISIBLE. THEN THEY HAVE BEEN SNEAKILY SENDING STORM WATER FOR 30 YEARS OF DEVELOPMENT OUTSIDE OF SEAVIEW TERRACE TO THE PRIVATE PROPERTY OF SEAVIEW TERRACE. FOR 5 DAYS, THE FLOODING, EASILY SWEPT AWAY PLANTS, SOIL, GRASS AND STONE, OVER 600 FEET OF MY SMALL PROPERTY . NEIGHBORS CAN ATTEST TO VELOCITY AND FEAR. IRENE WOULD HAVE WIPED US OUT IN MINUTES. IT CAN HAPPEN AT ANY TIME WHILE COUNCIL AND OFFICIALS LOOK THE OTHER WAY. MY NEIGHBORS WHO ARE TRYING TO SELL THEIR HOMES ARE VERY UPSET THAT I AM MAKING THIS FOUL, DIRTY SECRET PUBLIC. THEY WANT TO BLAME ME FOR WHAT THE CITY HAS DONE.  I pay my taxes, improved my home, and I am not on ANY government assistance. Those comments in the Bangor Daily News were cruel and cowardly.... hiding your names and attempting to slaughter mine. Nice. Doesn't matter what state your from, integrity trumps all.
MY " FRIENDLY" NEIGHBORS CAN ATTEST THAT I NEVER REMOVED ANY VEGETATION. WHAT WAS REMOVED WERE ALL THE DOCUMENTS BY CITY OFFICIALS TO COVER UP WAS IS SO CLEARLY VISIBLE AND CORRUPT.

Jan,
I was planning on closing in the back, starting from the back corner of each backside of house to the property line to the back and across- leaving the sides open- so if it is on the side of the garage- we're OK. I was thinking of a 6 foot vinyl privacy on both sides and maybe a pickett or chain link along the back to give the dogs something to see. Do you know if I will have to get a permit?
Thanks Jan

Laurie:  The sellers ar OK with you putting up a fence prior to closing.  However, they would like to know what kind and where.  They are concerned that whoever puts it up checks to be sure that they don’t hit the underground pipes from the sump pump to the ditch to the right of the garage.  This pipe is down about 18 inches.
Please let me know when you make arrangements for the fencing so that I can advise Bill and the sellers.  Thank you, Jan

Hi- I like 12 Stover- mls#918125. Stream has me nervous though. Any water ever in basement- there aren't any pictures of the basement. What is in there? What about the street itself when it snows? Does the town plow- how does that work?  Thanks. Also- I may change my visit to the week after christmas. Will keep you posted.

Dear Laurie,
Hi Laurie:  I am sending you 17 listings with copies going to Jean.  Not all of them will be right for you, but it will give you an idea as to what is available now.  The two I think are the best for your situation would be the one on Birch street for $232,000 and 12 Stover Lane.
I have set you up in my data base to receive any new listing as it comes on the market.  Unfortunately, I can not cc them to Jean.  However, you should be able to forward them to her or just let me know the MLS #'s that you want sent to her and I will see theat she gets them.

I will look forward to meeting you when you come to Maine in November. Just a reminder if you want to see any of the properties, I will need time to set them up, so the more notice I have the better.  Thank you.  Jan

House Inspection Findings by DJ Brown- Actual report is available for viewing

To janandrews@tcreal.com
Hi Jan,

I received the report yesterday.

1. Chimney flashing needs immediate repair- stains in attic/ no stains on interior ceilings. Told him it was reflashed in 2006- Jack said leaking is new. Roof needs to be ripped off and redone. Until then, flashing must be done.

2. Downspout disconnected, gutters leaking- clean gutters, fix leak and connect downspout.

3. Sliding Door is shot. Very difficult to open and does not lock. Replace with Anderson not Matthew Brothers.

4. Mold on Sheetrock under stairs- not tested- Remove with bleach and Hot water.

5. GFCI outlets needed in Kitchen and Basement Bath, some outlets are outdated- 2 prong- correct to 3 prong. Furniture blocking full inspections.

6. Upstairs Bath- sink cracked and drain stopper non functional and shower head leaks.

7. Downstairs Bath- valves and shower head very loose and leaking.

8. Upper portion of interior stairs hand rail is loose.

9. Dryer venting improper- plastic, must be metal.

10. Needs state code CO monitor and smoke alarms.

11. Plants/Tree touch house. Keep all bushes, shrubs, trees, etc. trimmed back.

These are my additions

A.Please adivise if there are screens for windows and doors.
B.Furniture in house and gargage blocked some inspections- thought house was empty??
C.Not sure if damage to yard where vehicles were on grass- please advise.
D.Is there a remote for the garage door opener?

If everything moves along, I am seeking permission to install a backyard fence prior to closing so it is complete upon my arrival. The sliding door is crucial- I need it big time for the dogs.

Jack is picking the radon test up tomorrow- if it is high he will call me.

Sincerely,

Laurie 732-238-4645
